About The Suture
Suture (noun) - a medical device used to hold body tissues together after an injury.
We live in a wounded world. Almost everywhere we look we see this truth. The climate is in crisis. We are deeply divided politically. Injustice and inequality are pervasive. There are epidemics of loneliness, addiction, and mental illness. And trust in the institutions that formerly served to bind us together is badly eroded. We are coming apart. We need new ideas to bind us together.
The Suture is a blog/newsletter that seeks to play its own small part in this process of bringing together what is asunder. Each week, subscribers will receive sharp and incisive articles that look at how contemplation, technology, science, and culture can be tools for reunion and renewal. I hope you’ll join us on this journey.
About Subscriptions
The Suture uses a freemium model for its content.
All content related to the core contemplative practices of and teachings at Living Christ Sangha (founded by Clay Williams, The Sutures author) will be available for free. This content may appear quite frequently during certain seasons (e.g. when the community is in a mini Ango practice during Advent or Lent), and more sporadically during other times.
The Suture will also regularly publish premium content, which is only available to paid subscribers. The premium content will be written from a broader perspective than the free content, and the articles will be longer and more in-depth. Subscribers will also get full access to all of the free content and the publication archives.
By clicking the button below, you can subscribe to either the free or paid tier of The Suture, which will guarantee the you receive all communications appropriate to that tier in your inbox.
